I'm just a girl!

By Hiya Verma

Here’s to the girl,

Who doesn’t wake up with perfect hair.

Who doesn’t mind eating a burger instead of a salad.

Who doesn’t need a guy to tell her she looks beautiful.

Who doesn’t get everything she wants.

Who doesn’t wear 50 pounds of makeup.

Who’d rather spend a day in sweatpants than skinny jeans.

Who loves the comfort of a T-shirt.

Who isn’t “popular” but feels like it when she’s around her close ones.

Who sticks to sneakers instead of heels.

Who isn’t insecure about her body hair.

Who isn’t insecure about being fat.

Who isn’t afraid to break a nail.

Here’s to all the girls who are just like me.

we are powerful, we are WOMEN!
