 Submission Guidelines

Guidelines for the Literary Corner

Please go through the guidelines before submitting.

1. We welcome diverse content inspired by our monthly prompt. Please submit your body of work as a word document or a pdf.

2. Poetry: Format as desired for publication. We accept all poetic forms, genres, and audio poetry. 

3. Prose: Essays, short stories, and excerpts should not exceed 2000 words. Previously published work is acceptable, but please inform us if this is the case.

4. We accept both audio and visual art submissions.

5.  Include a brief author’s bio or relevant social media handles on the first page of your submission.

6.  Submit your work formatted exactly as you wish it to appear. We respect your creative vision and will not alter the formatting.

7.  Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please compile them into a single file.

8.  Maintain inclusivity and respect in your submissions.

Guidelines for the Expert Corner

Please go through the guidelines before submitting.

1. We seek an array of content, ranging from in-depth analysis articles, case studies to opinion pieces, which must be between 500-1500 words max.

2. Submissions should be in the format of Microsoft Word (.docx) or Google Docs. Use Times New Roman font, 12-point size, with 1.5 line spacing throughout the document.

3. Previously published submissions are accepted, but must be relevant to the monthly theme.

4. While using research studies and articles to support claims made, please cite credible sources.

5. Include a brief author’s bio or relevant social media handles on the first page of your submission.

6. Girl up Jeevika reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, style, or length, with final approval on all content. We may request revision as needed, and have the right to decline publication if standards aren't met.
